Wild-Fires can occur anywhere there is flammable material, but most often occur in areas of dry coniferous forest. They are extremely difficult to put out and consume most everything in their path.

Wildfires like any fire needs fuel. In the case of a wildfire that fuel comes in the form of dead, dry, or diseased trees, and dry brush. The best way to prepare for a wildfire is to clear and remove old dry growth especially around your home or other important property.
