I saw there was a link with no page on LEO's so I thought I'd start it. I am a federal LEO, previously a local cop so I think I can do a fair job. I'll post everything here first for peer review.--Istvan56 08:44, 3 March 2009 (CST)

Looks pretty good to me so far, I have added the standard formatting to the main page as well as an image to associate with LEOs. I will probably modify some of your formatting for consistency after you have moved the content over to the page. -- derajer 9:21, 4 March 2009 (CST)

I saw your section on LEO relationships with Survivalists and responded as neutrally as I could. Frankly, LEO's generally think survivalists are kooks, even when they are fellow cops. (First hand experience speaking here.) The more liberal and pro-gun control cops lump us in with private militias and domestic terrorism. Add the fact that there have been a number of shoot-outs where cops were killed and you see paranoia if a cop sees a bug-out bag, especially if weapons are involved even if legal. Heck, just having a NRA sticker can get you in trouble with some cops, especially police from gun grabbing big cities.--Istvan56 08:52, 6 March 2009 (CST)

Nice work Istvan56, I definitely appreciate your difficulty in describing the relationship between LEOs and survivalists, but I believe that it was an important and relevant section.
