Hemostatic Bandages
From ZombieSquadWiki
A hemostatic bandage is a self-adhesive dressing with a coating of hemostatic agent allowing to both protect a wound and help stop the wound's bleeding. Their simplicity and effectiveness merit consideration for inclusion in any first aid kit.

Use
A hemostatic bandage is applied directly to the wound with pressure until bleeding is controlled. Depending on the type of hemostatic agent used either clotting will occur or a thermogenic reaction will slow or stop the bleeding. Hemostatic bandages are less effective at stopping arterial bleeding than applying hemostatic agents directly into the wound but are safer to use when desiring to avoid possible burns to the rescuer and patient.
