Bug Out Vehicle Porn - pictures only please

Postby kyle » Sat Aug 27, 2005 8:18 pm

By request this thread is dedicated to showing off your transportation. You can post cars, trucks, boats, motobikes, bicycles, or anything else that helps get you or your gear out of harms way.

Just like the other "Hot or Not" threads around here, only post with images of your transportation or pictures of stuff related to your transportation. Unrelated posts or posts without images will be deleted by a moderator.

Please only post pictures of YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT. Don't post images you found on a google search. All of us here know how to use a search engine.

Also, try to keep them under around 600 pixels wide if you can. Scrolling to the right is annoying. Use a link if you can't figure out how to shrink your images down.

Here is my current BOV, a Ford Explorer Sportrac. Not quite a truck, not quite an SUV. Here is when I was loaded up to go camping, complete with a dog cage in the back. I have a campershell on it now, it's uglier, but more useful.

In the front of the picture you can see the corner of my wrecked jeep, I've had the jeep urge ever since I got that insurance check. One of these days I'll get another one, until then, the sportrac will have to do.

Not exactly a road-worthy vehicle, especically when the SHTF, but, it is good for navigating the amazingly large network of ATV trails behind my house.

I intend to stay as civilized as possible until the last possible moment. As long as there are roads and facilities to defend... this should do nicely.

Either way you look at it, "Blowing a Tranny" is a BAD thing.

Her it is, my 94 6.5 Turbo Diesel Blazer 4X4. Got it because after Katrina hit and I went into Miss. I could always find fuel for the big truck but most stations had no gas.

Prepare for the most likely first. Once you've got that covered THEN you can start to prepare for the worst.
