I've got an extensive collection of books on Survival that I got from a friend of mine. Most of them from a political spin so I will be careful what I post up. While there are some political undertones in this book they are very mild and the usefulness of this book far outweighs them.

Here is the first three sentences from the back jacket cover.

"Will you be ready when disaster strikes?
Will you survive day two?
Don't take chances with the future."

That right there sounds like a book that every ZS'er should have.

It is very well organized and planed out as well.

Chapter List:
1. General Survival
2. Economic Survival
3. Climatic Survival
4. Surviving Terrorists
5. Warfare Survival
6. Ecological Survival
7. Political Survival
8. Bizarre Occurrences

Just to wet your appetite even more in the first chapter there is a series of Survival Equipment Checklists including;
Food and Cooking Equipment
Water Supplies
Sanitation Equipment
Shelter, camping equipment
Books
Tools
Personal Equipment
Defense Equipment
Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Equipment
Medical Supplies
Transportation Equipment
Barter Supplies
and Miscellaneous

The cool thing is not only does it have what to stockpile and collect but how to recognize signs of impending doom and maintain security for you and your loved ones.

Over all I would say that this book gets two thumbs up from me. It covers basic to advanced ideas and has something for someone on just about every level of preparedness.
