I had sent an e-mail but do not know if it went through?

Is a .38 spcl o.k. ? It is smaller than a 9mm.

it is?

9 millimeters = 0.354330709 inch

Bear_B has final word but I'm pretty sure it's OK. If you didn't get an e-mail response from him by now you might want to send him another to make sure it went through.

Actual sizes:

.38 cal = .357 inch or 9.067mm

9mm = .355 inch or 9.017mm

I have a most ridiculous question then... I was at the range w/ a friend and we were using my .38 and my 9mm. He had grabbed the 9mm and attempted to put it in the .38 to find it went in partially and got stuck.

I assumed the 9mm was larger because of this? I know the .38 is longer but i thought it was smaller diam.

Shit, I don't know. I don't own a .357 or .38 so this is purely google experience. Next time I hit the range with Jamoni I'll steel one of his rounds and find out for sure. :)

Anyone ave a picture with the two side by side? This is discussion for another thread though.

I've registered, waiting for Bear to get back to me to confirm. Are we only going to have 6 or 7 people?

I'll try to do my shooting next weekend. I planned to do it today, but I have no earplugs, and those .45's do a number on my poor ole ears.

I'm in the same boat -- gotta use .38 or .357. That IS my "service" revolver.
