I'm dropping the ball! I've been so swamped with grad school that I haven't had the time during business hours this week to give the H4H office a call. Could someone else do the footwork of finding out how many people we still have committed to the event and then calling H4H to make sure everyone is qualified to volunteer on Saturday? We also need to know where to go and when.

Ok Sean, you call. I don't have a hardhat, and if they don't provide one I'll work anyway because I have a hard head and head wounds are cool anyway.
Are we supposed to wear our ZS t-shirts?

Supposed to? Well if you would consult your ZS Dress Code Handbook (Chapter 9, Subsection 43B) you'll see:

ZS Dress Code Handbook wrote:Herewith, heretofore and henceforth, the party of the second party (to be referred to as "Badass Zombie Killer/House Builder") shall attire their upper body, to include all beer bellys, but not including the head/cranial regions, in Zombie Squad's officially sanctioned apparel, to include but not limited to: black, red or microfiber ZS logo t-shirts, undershirts (or "zombie beaters" as they are known on the interwebs) while engaging in any of the following activities:

-Bugging In
-Bugging Out
-Bugging Over, Under or Through the Woods
-Dischcharging a Firearm
-Any activity that involves heckling a wall hanger katana (unless said katana is wrapped in phone chord, see chapter 68 for Phone Chord Guidelines)
-Watching a zombie movie
-Camping
-Drinking
-Posing for photographs (Rock Horns or The Bird must be thrown to demonstrate your Ability to Rock Hard or Contempt for the Photographer/World)
-Writing a manifesto
-ZS Meetings
-ZS Charity Events
-Children's Birthday Parties
-Posting on the ZS Forum
-Petting Zoos
-Anytime George Romero, Max Brooks, Bruce Campbell, Les Stroud or Stan Lee are in the vicinity
-Out in public
-In your sleep
-Any combination of the above listed activities.

Any member caught wearing a ZS Polo will he heckled and made to eat DrGonzos patented Ramen, Spam and Srirachi Lunch.

There, that should clear things up.

So, if while drinking, I'm discharging firearms at a child's birthday party, I have to wear a ZS shirt?

Ok, I just left a voice mail for Cassandra and asked her the 411 on the time and 20. I told her that if Sean had already called, to disregard my message, but wanted to make sure SOMEBODY called down there.

Thanks!
Do we know what site we'll be at? I can pull directions from the site - or is that what we need from H4H?

I am waiting for H4H to call me back. I guess the people we need to talk to are out at the build site, but should be back within the hour. When I find out about the site info I will post it here.

OK!! So tomorrow we will be working at the Reynolds Park location. Be there no later than 8:45 am!!! There will be roofing, siding, landscaping, and some general clean-up duties for us. You will need to bring long pants and closed-toe shoes or you won't be able to work. You also need to bring water and a good lunch. They will have water on-site but they want us to bring one bottle of water (nalgene is fine) for our initial water supply.

We won't need to bring any tools. They have everything else that we will need there on-site. You can bring your own tools if you want, but make sure that they are marked as yours. They have asked us to car-pool if possible, so if anyone wants to carpool, just let me know and we can set something up. There will be some kind of dedication going on while we are there, which they said should be pretty cool to see.

The address for the build is:4610 E. N St Tacoma, WA 98403

WARNING: The address will probably not come up in a mapquest search. I guess it is because the address technically doesn't exist yet. Cassandra recommended searching for the E. 48th and Portland Ave intersection which will get you pretty close.

From I-5 N: Take the Portland Ave. exit and turn left. Go down Portland Ave. to E. 48th St. and turn right on 48th. Take your first right into the cul-de-sac. That is the build site.

If you get lost just give me a call. PM me if you don't have my number.

I'm still looking for a carpool buddy. I don't remember what part of T-town you're in, Sean. Are you near enough to Hilltop to make carpooling make sense?

Who the fuck still uses Mapquest?

It comes right up.
