That's nearly a 4-hour drive for me. I think I'm probably going to pass. I'll let you guys know if I change my mind.

94, I know squat about coastal fishing, freshwater, that's another story.
My GF is the saltwater pro in our relationship, me I just shoot things ;->=

On the plus side, I have a beach permit for the north end of CB and was a cop down there for a few years.

Lol....I don't know a lot about Coast fishing...I just enjoy it. Most people look at me funny when I say I catch and release...lol. I really enjoy just being able to drive on the beach and fish out of the back of my Jeep.

Ok I am in, bringing at least one other person (who would sign up if he had a computer.) a brother in arms if you will.

So is it just us 3 or so?

Hmm..anyone got a Costco membership. I can't see it now. We all enter Costco and have a "jam" session as to why it's not a good BOL.

That sucks you have to work so late...seriously though..Does anyone have a Costco membership?

I'll be there on Saturday with my son cousin and a guy from XDTALK.com. We need a meeting time for the guys showing up on sat. I can't be there on sun. as I have previous commitments.

I'll be there in a set of dark 5.11 pants and the one of the below pictued shirts. I should have the Glock 17 or XD9 on me and may be carrying my AR with me.

Another show, in Greensboro, next month:

Feb 9-10, in the Greensboro Coliseum. Should be easier for some of our Western NC posters to get to. Anyone down for planning another one then?

I'm game..thats just down the road.
FYI..if anyone plans to stay over night...due to drive time, I'd suggest staying here in Asheboro (edit..or any other outlying city). Motels are much cheaper and you're 25-30 min away from the show.

I won't be able to attend this one, gents [I work 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM Sunday]. :(

But the Greensboro Gunshow, February 9th and 10th, sounds like a perfect time and place to finally get all the North Carolina folks across this [too-]big state together.

Count me in. :D

EDIT: It'd be doubly awesome if one of the attendees from the forums would take pics and do a write-up of the gun show and the meeting for those of us that won't be there.

By the sound of things, it looks like the turn out for the Raleigh show is going to be light. I think I'm going to pass on making the trip this time.

However, I can definitely be there for the Greensboro show in February if we're going to do a get-together then.

So we're rescheduling for Feb? That's fine by me, it's just good to know. Can we go ahead and get a show of hands of folks planning to attend the Feb. show, and thus start organizing that great event?

The 9th (Saturday) would probably be better for me. Can we plan on doing it then? This should give everyone plenty of time to request off from work, etc.

I'll probably still be at the Raleigh show this Saturday with some friends if anyone's going to be around.

I'm definitely going to the February Show.

I want to meet Skullgirl, Erik, Cymro and whoever else I can as soon as possible.

We definitely have the potential to make a N.C. Zombie Squad chapter, but have been putting it off for too long, at the very least the February Gun Show will offer an oppurtunity for us to at least become familiar with each other outside the Forums and the IRC Chatroom. :D
