Yeah, that seems like crap. But I guess I've gotta go to school. The drive would be easier.

Okay, school doesn't start till the 29th, so that's even better than I thought it was. But, I should still be available to come on up. We need one more guy, and a camera. I've got some guns, and I'm sure all other Californians here have some.

Now all we need is some other guy to wake the hell up.

*shows up* I'm in Sunnyvale, and sadly due to a crazy work schedule, my ability to attend much is pretty limited to local-ish >.<

Great America :)

Between Livermore, Sunnyvale, Vallejo, and Livermore again, we should be able to get something going, even if it's just a trip to the range :)

Ok Zap, since you're from around there, you'll have to secure a location for us to meet/shoot. I PM'd airborne4x4, his location is listed as Livermore as well. Maybe you guys can get together on the location. Looking at a map of the Bay Area, Livermore is a pretty centralized location. Seems like it wouldn't be an extreme hardship for folks from San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Vallejo to make the drive.

Okay, I've sent PMs to all non-asshat, non-frosty BP, currently in state, still active users who have posted in this thread. I'm hoping for some of y'all to post here, even if it's just to check in and let us know you're keeping track of where these plans are going. Feel free to get in touch with other CA folks that possibly haven't posted in this thread yet and spread the word. Let's keep the West Coast zombie free!

I'm definitely up for a meet and greet, but due to a rather unusually shifting schedule I can never 100% guarantee attendance. I would definitely be up for something in the near future, gotta polish up my rusty gun skills anyway >.<. Definitely pass me a PM should something come up, I'll definitely be all for it :)

As with everything, it's a definite maybe, but I am sure I can attend.

I'm a paid member, even though I haven't received my ID card yet. These bulletin board things go forever. Perhaps it's time we start exchanging numbers.

I'm still here!! I've been working the graveyard shift at work, so it has been difficult to find time to get online, but I am definately down for a meet/greet/shoot in Livermore. A number of pages back I made some suggestions in Livermore for camping, hiking, and shooting. For those who would have a distance to drive, there is a state park for camping. http://www.ebparks.org/parks/del_valle The shooting range is also in the town of Livermore. http://www.lprg.org/

Let's narrow it down to a month, then a week/weekend, then a day.

I would think that for most people, Saturday would be the best. That would allow travle time for anyone outside the bay area, and conflict the least with peoples' work schedule.
Total victory, through self victory.

I'll be doing some camping/jackassery up in the bay area the weekend of August 10th - 13th.

Edit - Camping is about 100 miles north of Livermore in Guerneville

Kedyw, Seeker, do your school/work schedules allow for a Saturday free at the beginning of August? I'm liking Saturday August 11 in Livermore. The range that airborne linked has a voice activated trap shooting range. I'd love to shoot some moving targets. There's an ATA shoot happening that weekend though, so I think they might have the run of the trap shooting range on that day.

I'm good until the 28th of August.

Oceanside is near me right now, but we really ought to concentrate on this event. It's been maybe six months in the making. Hell, if it actually gets passed through, I'll make or buy shirts. Or something.

Most of my normal Saturdays I work Day shift, so I can't guarantee anything though because my schedules show up at the last second >.<. I will see what I can do about getting one of the Saturdays off so long as I have much advance notice :).

I'll propose two options, and we'll decide by simple majority:

Saturday, August 11

or

Saturday, August 18

I'll go first. I vote the 18th.
