IN DOTD04 That C.J. guy was an asshole! until the end. what do we do when my team runs into some crazy, blameful people, who are trying to kill us for our supplies and shit. Do we blow those bastards away as soon as they take a shoot at us or do we try and convince them were not the badguys?
P.S. If they wounded or killed one of my team members, no question about it, I'd blow the asshole away.
We'll finish this in HELL!!!!

CJ was an asshole at first, but I liked him a lot by the end of the movie. I think he was just scared.

CJ was just doing what any of us would do.

Think of the situation, something is making people attack & eat each other. We don't know why, or how it's transmitted.

You're in a secure area with 2 buddies, weapons, food & access to outside information. Would you let a group of strangers into your hideout, without taking away their weapons & quarantining them?

Seems like a smart protocol to follow in the PAW, to me.

CJ softend up at the end, but i really dont think he was a total jerk, just a PAW synic. for instance, when they were playing "celebrity squares" on the roof top he could have told ana to go fuck herself, but instead he told here "Hey, sweetheart, let me tell you something. You have my permission, if I ever turn into one of those things, do me a favor - blow my fucking head off."

Steve was an A*hole and deserved to die. I'd Ditch people like that at first chance. But CJ was a hardass. He had nerves of steel and is the kind of people you'd wan't to have on your side.

i highly doubt anyone here would just kill someone because he was an asshole, or even bi-polar for that matter

I agree, Steve was a dick. I would have thrown his ass off the roof after taking his keys.

Steve was a jack ass, and Nicole was a dumbass. CJ was doing as said before what most people would do. I hated seeing Andy, Tucker, and CJ dieing, most of them died because of dumb mistakes from the others.

For myself, I would defend myself if attacked, I'm not going to give up anything I worked hard for.

Was Nicole the one Steve was boning? I would have kept her around to help propagate the species :).

Nah that was Monica, Nicole was the one with the dog who cried when her dad died and all she did was spray paint over things.

I would keep her around too, not just because I have a soft spot for red-heads, but she could have learned some useful skills and may have been able to carry her own weight in time. People who don't seem immediately useful can always learn how to do something worthwhile, even if it's laundry. I'll save anyone I can, even if they are jerks. We will all be under tremendous stress during a PAW situation and may not have the most diplomatic tones when dealing with people. I am willing to bet we all come off as assholes to new people in any stressful situation. Hell, some of us come off as assholes now, and there are no zombies knocking at our doors, for the moment...

Yeah, I guess Slings, but she was too obsessive over that dog.
Did anyone like Bart (security guard who died during the black out), he says some pretty funny things at least a lot of it was in deleted scenes.

I think this was in another thread back in the day, but it was along the lines of be wary of all individuals you come across, even if they are open and kind, they could knock you out, take your stuff and leave you for dead.

Part of the Zombie Squad responsibility is to educate that public about preparedness and vigilance. These are activities that we can easily teach others before and during the PAW.

As teachers we are also leaders because who will be the most prepared for a zombie uprising, if not us? An important part of leadership is maintaining the moral of your group. Not all of us are as independent as Raptorman. I, for one, will eventually loose my sanity if I have to survive alone for weeks at a time with no other human contact. If members of your team start showing obsessive tendencies or extreme anti-social behavior, these are just as dangerous as acute depression and must be addressed in a direct and careful manner. We all have a breaking point under duress and need to carry each other at some point.

If one of my friends or family is acting odd, I will do what I can to help the person, whether or not there is a crisis at hand. That's one of the basic points of being a good person. I'd like to think we are all good people, even though we bicker over silly points, like whether the AR-15 is a better gun than the AK-47.

My basic point is; don’t discount a person because we don't see some instantly likeable part of their personality. Some folks just need to be coaxed out of their shell or have a reason to open up or loosen up. Give people a chance and most of the time you can get along well with the most unlikely people.

CJ was an A**hole, but he was a bada$$. He wasn't going to compromise security for anything and I think that we would do or feel the same. No matter how much of an ass he was, it was "his" retreat/"fortress" that the people went to and he did what he felt was right to not compromise its security. Plus he had the most knowledge in weaponry out of all of them.

Bear in mind that the PAW or rise of the zombies does not suspend your duty to your fellow man. Someone's an asshole? Deal with it. They don't want to be your friend? So what? You can't just shoot someone because you don't LIKE them. It's immoral. illegal, and quite frankly, psychotic. Don't be a psycho. Just like in society, deadly force can only be justified in self defense.

But just look at what steve did to them in the end. He left them to die while he went to the buses. If i dont trust someone 100% and neither does anyone else i'm with, he'd be outta my base and on his own in a heartbeat.

Yeah, then again, if you can't, in a PAW situation only, kill someone because you don't like what they did or what you think they are going to do, you'll end up being killed by raiders in DODOV. In a nutshell, i'll just stop making run on sentences. Thankyou and good night.
They're coming to get you Barbara...
