GTA-Area Ranges?

Postby BejamminR » Mon Apr 02, 2007 1:57 pm

How many of you folks are members at ranges in the GTA area - actually, anywhere within 100 miles of the GTA. I'm in Guelph now, moving to Markham shortly. I know there's a range in Uxbridge, there's a Scarborough rifle range (i.e. .22-caliber) and there's the Guelph Rod and Gun Club - 10 minutes from me now, >1hr from the new place.

I just shoot at my family farm right now, but that's >160miles east of Toronto. If anyone's a member of a range and/or can recommend or refer me to one, let me know. I'd love to go out and spend a day shooting with some fellow ZS'ers.

I got to silverdale sports club, it's located in St.Annes ontario, about 20 minutes out of hamilton on the niagara side, and there's an open house/family fun/buy, sell, trade day on april 21st. if you're interested, or if anyone is, we can always hook up and make it a day.

I'm interested. April 21 I'll still be in Guelph, so St. Anne's isn't that far away.

And for that matter, I might have a .410 backpacker to sell/trade at such a gathering, and I'm interested in buying a few things as well. That could definitely work.

Yep, our very own post thingy. :-)

I clearly forgot about the open house in St. Anne's on April 21st. Sorry, Horatio; I just left my job and have been in the midst of a big move to the GTA from Guelph. I'll have to stop by sometime once I've finished getting settled here, if there's another open house / fun day sometime soon.

There's also the range at Target Sports in Stouffville, which will be close for you if you're living in Markham. It's indoor only, with 25 yd. pistol/shotgun lanes.
