Far Cry 5

It's been a long while since I've picked up a new game, and saw some demo vids for this game the other day and thought it looked like some good old fashioned mindless violence and picked it up.

The basic gist of the game is there is a fanatic cult in an fictional Montana valley that's taking over the area, and you're helping grow the resistance and what not. Actually a decently engaging underlying story.

But what's really fun about the game is the sandbox run and gun survival aspect. It has it all:hunting, fishing, raiding flooded prepped stashes, wingsuit diving, Rocky Mountain Oysters, driving pregnant women to the doctor whilst avoiding pig stampedes and crashing planes, diabetic bears, etc...

It's a hoot of a game that doesn't take itself too seriously, but has ridiculously fun gameplay and a decent nod to emergency preppers without making them all look nuts (though some).

Anyhoo, definitely a fun game to check out.

I like this game, I spent millions of hours to go through this game, and I'm willing to spend as much as I could pass again

Contrary to popular belief by the tasteless millions you CAN have realism in fiction.
But if you like being spoon fed crap...go right ahead.

It's OK for all the reasons you list, but I couldn't continue playing after I got about half way through. The weird acid trip mini games that interrupt and trap you every five minutes and bugged side missions got on my nerves.

I probably will, but I'm going to wait until summer to pick up a copy. I almost never pick up a new game within the first few months following its release.

As for Far Cry 5, it's quickly becoming one of my favorite games. My only issue is the lack of enemies in the world after you defeat the cult. There's about three or so spots in the game where I know enemies will spawn, so I just stick around there when I want do challenges or test out a new weapon.

I have. Its good, about 30% the size of FC5 and way more linear but very Mad Maxish. On par with the standard game, though.
