Since I'm the new guy here I dont know how many of you have run across Field Manual FM21-11 (First aid for Soldiers) before but it's an amazing resource to keep in your first aid kit if you're not already an EMT.

Thanks Crypto! I downloaded it to print out later (I ran out of ink trying to print Mel Tappans book last night).

g0nz0, I found another Army manul online a few days ago and downloaded it to print later also. I typed in "army field manuals to download" and got a few hits. (here are two of them - http://digg.com/security/Large_collecti ... r_download.

There's another Army FM dealing with FA as well but it's for the Combat Lifesaver Course. It goes from the beginning and teaches you step by step how to do everything with pictures and so on. I think that everyone should have that in their library but I have yet to find it anywhere. If I can find it somewhere online I'll post a link on here.

Disclaimer - I am only posting on a five year old post because it is a link off of a sticky thread and I found more relevant information - /Disclaimer

The link to the Army Combat Lifesaver Course is below.

Also, I found a link for what looks like all of the Army Field Manuals online, but they are broken apart into several different pdf files for each manual.

Current links to First Aid manuals:

This has the whole current (Dec 2002) FM 21-11 in a single PDF:
http://www.au.af.mil/au/awc/awcgate/army/fm4_25x11.pdf

This is the ARC's Wilderness and First Aid manual. Lots of pictures.
http://www.redcross.org/images/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m3240076_WildernessRemoteFirstAidReferenceGuide.pdf

This has lots of good pictures and diagrams. It's only 24 pages and is easily printed for inclusion in a FAK.

I have just about every Army medical book on digits.

Let me know if there is one or a topic you want, I can put them on my Rapidshare account.
