My PC died on me last week. I just build what would have been am awesome gaming rig in 2010, but is very reasonably priced in 2013.
FONV with all settings on max: Holy shit.

The graphics are a lot better than I thought.
Off the internet until further notice.

Oh yeah, When I saw doc mitchell for the first time I was very impressed with the graphics for the time.

Equality can only exist between equals.
Civilization implies division of labor, division of labor implies subordination and subordination implies injustice and inequality.

No but if that ever came out as a mod pack I would literally rebuy FO3 off steam to use it.
Still wouldn't get rid of the horrible gameplay though

Fallout Television series may be in the works. Read above.

Listening to Johnny Cash and I really wish I could mod the game. Some of his songs would fit seamlessly on the radio. Give My Love to Rose is what made me think of it.

On the bright side, you took so bloody long you only have a few months to wait for Fallout 4.

Confession time: I've played every Fallout Game other than Shelter (Android) and The Console Game That Shall Not Be Named. It's my favorite series.
I'm certain I'm averaging well over a hundred hours per game. Probably quite a bit more. I've played multiple characters on each. Between the five games that's a minimum of 500 hours, and I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be over 750 hours total.
I have never beaten a Fallout game.

I never played tactics. It's not canon, so that doesn't really bother me. 4 looks like it's gonna be so good, November can't come fast enough.

If I could enter a medically induced coma and reliably be awakened in November I would seriously consider it. Screw muscle atrophy, I want me some Fallout 4!

I haven't finished a Fallout main quest since the first one.

There are so many side quests and random encounters that the main story isn't even really necessary.
I did like how the New Vegas main story had a pause built in at a certain point. I always felt a little guilty for fucking around when I was supposed to be finding the water chip/the G.E.C.K./Dad or whatever.
With the whole settlement building thing in Fallout 4 I expect I'll ignore the main story line even more than in the previous games.
(I actually completed nearly the entire main story in the first Fallout, but I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do at the military base after killing the big bad supermutant guy, so I got mad and killed just about every NPC in the game.)
