Well, true, livng humans do that... but I doubt zombies would count as human. Most animals don't do it...

Basically, this is one of those things that we'll never know the answer to unless the dead actually rise and we can study their behavior...

FN-HP-DA (Fabrique Nationale, Hi-Power, double-action):

Browning BDM:

Also, the BDA has the slide mounted safety, but a round trigger guard. The Beretta 84 .380 has the finger support trigger guard, but a frame mounted safety.

Just for reference, the Browning HP is a single action auto, not a double action auto.

Actually they have both a Double Action and a single action model. I have sold both variants, both said "Hi Power" on the gun.

I was thinking the BDA (which is made by Beretta for Browning), and the 85/85/86 series but It did not look quite right.

Let's try this again.....perhaps something got lost in translation.

FN-HP-DA (Fabrique Nationale Hi-Power double-action):

FN/Browning HP P-35 (Fabrique Nationale/Browning Hi-Power single-action "pistol of 1935"):

And here's a closer pic of Carl with what I believe to be the double-action Hi-Power. Judge for yourself:

That being said, I still think his other handgun (the one with the home-made can on it) looks more Beretta-ish, or perhaps one of the smaller .380s that Arkane and Gun_Nut referenced.

I thought it was a Beretta, too...

From what I've read, season 3 Carl is supposed to be more like GN Carl.....I hope so.

3 of the 4 ladies are touching him, and he has his own hand between his legs. Seems like he is doing pretty good from the above picture. Way to go Glenn.

And he still has that "I can't quite believe this is really my life" look about him. Steven Yeun has got to feeling like he's about the luckiest man in the world at the moment.

And all too predictably, IronE Singleton isn't even in the picture........

ETA: and if there's an actress working in Hollywood (or rural Georgia) with a more beautiful smile than Lauren Cohan, please post a picture. Because I'd have to see it to believe it.

The 4th seems to like the new guy...

Coincidence, two actors who get along well, or perhaps a subtle sense of forshadowing in the pictures composition, Rick by himself, the Guv and Andrea close together?

IMFDB seems to be pretty convinced that Carl's "silenced" gun is an M9/Beretta...

But in case anyone missed it in the preview...

Carol has a new gun

I also find it interesting that there's no Carl, T-Dog, Daryl, or Herschel.

I wouldn't look too deep into it......I believe those pics were taken at last week's San Diego Comic-Con. They were probably the only cast members in attendance.

Yeah the more I look at it the more I think the angle is distorting the picture. That very well could be a modified Beretta 92 with tall sights to allow the use of the can. I wonder why Carol is shooting that Rifle? I mean the shot appears to be over 50 feet and we all know you can't hit anything with an AK pattern rifle past 40 feet.

I thought that was Daryl in the top left most spot in that pic?

Naw, man. It looks like it has a UTG railed forend and rail covers.....Makes the barrel more rigid, and much more accurate.Image
