I believe it was supposed to have been submitted to HQ for approval, but I haven't heard a reply back.
As far as I know, it should still be on though. I'll see what I can find out.

Well, the management and such are all volunteer positons. There are no money-grubbing paid management types sucking up all the donations sent to ZS to buy themselves a new boat or plane. So when you're annoyed about the long response time, let this scene play in your head.:

ZS Board member has a full time job, a wife and a kid. It's a Saturday morning and he's looking to relax a bit because he's perhaps not overly fond of his day job. He instead sits at the computer to hammer out some email replies when his son walks up to him with a baseball glove and a ball and asks him to go outside. "Sorry kiddo, gotta get some stuff done for ZS." He says. As he turns he almost misses the look on his sons face that tells the whole story. Another day of sitting on the front porch by himself, tossing the ball in the air and catching it. The Board member's heart breaks as he turns the computer off. "Screw it, let's go play catch, my man!" and many happy memories ensue.

Cut them some slack eh? Just remember that up there is fiction, they were really at the strip club too late and now they're hung over.

No one is *not* cutting them slack, bro. But following up and asking about something that's been submitted is not unreasonable. ;)

From what I understand summer is a pretty busy time, not just for the individuals, but for the organization as well. Lots of street fairs and other charity stuffs. And the contest runs long enough timing shouldn't be too big of an issue. They'll get to it. :D

That's what I love about the ZS... they put their not-for-profit where their (collective) mouth is. I don't mind waiting when I know it's because they're busy shoring up our collective defenses against the inevitable zompocalypse.

Well, I'm still in on this... and I'm in contact with the others, so no worries.
As soon as it goes through, I (or someone else) will let you all know.

Still no response? I understand being busy and all, but it can't take THAT long for a simple "Yes the design is ok, go ahead." or "We don't like this, this and this, please change that and resubmit." can it?

I would hate to have the whole idea fall by the wayside just because we couldn't get an official response.

+1
I thought it was a great idea too, and I'm kinda confused as to why HQ hasn't responded on it.

FYI- Still no confirmation heard on my end... and I'm starting to wonder if everyone here at ZS is on mental vacation.
(however I've been in contact with the_alias and he is still on it. So please cut him a little slack, just sayin')

Just be very patient, I have it on good authority that this is being looked at and there should be an answer soon!

It's all good, just was giving a bump to make sure it didn't get forgotten about. I know it happens to me at work all the time so I don't hold everyone else to a higher standard ;)

Aight ZS, I'm back with some facts on this patch dealio.

Here is the lowdown-
As it stands, we want to give you guys a nice, high quality patch that you will be proud to earn and wear...
So under very solid advice, I've made some slight changes on that file for the sake of clarity which of course means modifying some things.
They are subtle, but the main design and format remains the same.

Check it- (very long image)

Cheers~!
