Trying to go back to comcast regardless. ATT went door to door and said their service improved.. The On demand selection kinda sucks D:

No AMC On Demand :vmad:

AT&T, Dish Network, DirectTV. Today I got an email from Time Warner Cable saying some of the channels are blacked out in certain markets due to disputes over fees. The whole patchwork, jury ass system disgusts me. Advertising revenues are declining, shows are getting more expensive to produce and more and more competing content is becoming available on the web. And everyone's pointing fingers at everyone else saying "we're the good guys; they're just being greedy."

I get it that the old business models no longer work, but why is it that the viewers are being jerked around while the content producers and content delivery providers dick around trying to get their f*cking sh*t together? I don't want to make this political, but someone needs to step in and force arbitration, or treat this like a public utility. Or something.

I think the whole cable/sat tv system needs a re-boot.

Ditch packages. Start offering a per-channel pricing system, where the customer selects only the channels they want, and then pay for each. Then if the channel price changes, the change is passed to the customer, but the customer is happy because they no longer have to pay for 300 religious/spanish language/sports/etc. channels they don't want or need.

In terms of Lori...

[Spoilers]
I kind of don't figure she'll be shot up like in the graphic novel. There's the same prison / governor / Lori / pregnancy plot overlap, but I don't see her and the baby getting shot in that same mess. Most deaths do not occur as they did in the comic -- do any? It's almost safe to assume that she won't die that same way ... if at all.

Kinda makes me cringe wondering what's next for the cable series.

How do you think Merle would possibly react to TDog/Glenn? I mean Glenn is the one who bought Rick to the original group anyways. I'm thinking he might harbor some anger with him as well. Or am I just over thinking things. Also TDog dropped the key..

Yes, I hope the up-coming battle between Rick and Negan is just as epic as the one between Rick and The Governor was.

Well, actually there wasn't an "epic battle" between the Guv and Rick.....just a regular #50 comic cover and a special edition tongue-in-cheek "superhero" cover:

Went to do a GIS of "Carl Grimes hat", and before I could finish typing, "Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats" was suggested.

It's a site for sumdood that can "transform your sick house into a healthy house".......That's funny right there, I don't care who you are.

Picked up the Comic-Con exclusive of issue #100... :-D

Now I just need to decide how badly I want the Walking Dead Escape exclusive#100... they're apparently blindsiding everyone who signed up with a hidden insurance fee. Sure, it'd be fun to do, but when it comes down to it, I'd basically be paying a hundred bucks for an exclusive comic... *sigh*

Oh you haven't seen anything. Wait until you see the windmill scene in "Better Angels".

That's when I knew for sure that Lori is evil. Pure evil. As in "Dark Lord of the Sith" evil.

***Spoilers***

Now see....I took that scene a completely different way. Rick had just assured her that he had straightened Shane out and that he would no longer be a "problem".

I took Lori's actions, and the words she said to Shane, as her trying to bury the hatchet......and maybe let Shane know that, now that everything is "cool" between the three of them, he shouldn't feel so bad, and that she would share the blame.

But then, apparently, Shane took what she said the wrong way.
