A friend's company has some older 275 gallon totes which they are willing to give me that were used to hold mineral oil.
Does anyone know what would be the best way to clean these so I can use them for water storage?

If it was medicinal grade mineral oil I would just rinse really well repeatedly. Anything you put it in it to clean the oil off would likely be worse than the oil itself. You want to make sure it gets really clean as mineral oil is a laxative.
