So, since the group buy has mostly shipped, and some of you have had your lowers/uppers for a while I figured I would start a thread where we could post pictures of our completed rifles. Here is mine:

Sorry for the cellphone picture. I'll try to post something better soon.

It has a 5.45x39 home built upper and the gray ZS lower. It also has a YHM free-float rail, a Primary Arms M3 clone (a personal favorite for low cost red dots), a DPMS rear folding sight, and a MI rail-height front folding sight. The grip is a Magpul MOE K that I have found is easier for smaller hands to use than the standard A2 style. And there is a spare magazine holder on the far side of the stock. The sling is a standard Israeli 2 pointg.

I made the upper last year to take advantage of all that 7N6 ammo out there. Hopefully I can get it out to the range this weekend for a function test. When I found out that gray was a possible color, I picked up some LaRue UDE (read:gray) rail covers and swapped out an A2 stock that I already had that was more gray than black. I figure if I am going to have only one AR in 5.45x39, I may as well make it easily distinguished at a glance.

So, Lizard posted his in the other thread. Where are the rest of them?

LMT upper with a VLTOR case el hand guard aimpoint comp m2 red dot set up for co witness sopmod stock
Delton upper mid length with Classic iron sights and A2 stock
M&P upper with Troy battle rail Vortex viper PST 2.5x10 scope and magpul PRS stock
YHM upper with YHM diamond rail have sights and a aimpoint T-1 red dot it's just not on the rifle.
All are on M&P lowers
Any more Plans for a ZS group buy on lowers planned?

PSA rifle kit on a ZS lower, .556 medium weight 16" upper with a 12" YHM diamond rail. Match flip up rear sight, looking for a PRI or Troy HK style flip up front now. Ergo FDE stock and Magpul FDE grip.

OK, guys... before any more posts... There seems to be some confusion here.
Couple of months back, ZS had a group buy of ZS lowers from QD. ZS logo is etched right on the lower.
This thread is meant to show off you ZS rifle, meaning Show us your assembled rifle with a ZS lower. Get it?

(Sigh) It seems like we are just not getting the word out there well enough.

Ok, here is the deal. Back in January we put together a group buy through Quentin Defense for a batch of billet (meaning milled out of a solid chunk of aluminum) lowers with a really nice ZS logo like the one at the top of your screen. It also has a custom model number and "ZS" prefix serial numbers. They are available in Black, Olive Drab, and Gray. You can buy a matching billet upper from them if you want. They still have it available on their website if you want to purchase them, though I would hurry, as they were only cleared by the ZS committee to run this one batch for the group buy. Thus far 30-40 of us have bought them. They are well-built, and look pretty slick. If you have already bought yours, and want to show off your completed rifle, this it the thread to do so.

They have not sent it yet? Or it hasn't been ordered yet? If they have not sent it yet it is time to start calling them and bugging them about it. Most of the rest of us have had ours for a while.

Can we get a head count of people who have already bought lowers and not received them yet please? If there is a reason, like you had an upper too, and they are waiting to anodize them together, I might go for it. Or that you had them laser engraving a dictionary on the side. But at this point all of the original orders should be out an already too people, shouldn't they?

My Quentin Defense ZS lower in gun metal gray with OD green Magpul furniture. Rock River Arms "half quad" rail. CMMG .300blkout barrel. Daniel Defense guts. Colt buffer tube and spring. Spikes Tactical ST-T2 buffer. Boom.

*I believe i will be going in another direction with this one. I'm really liking that whole, 5.45x39 scene. :mrgreen:

Since no one's chiming in with a version of the absolute TURD that was the AGP arms no-engraving shitbag lower buy, I'll post mine:

I found the most obnoxious sparkle purple model paint to fill in the utterly pathetic "engraving" on that lower. I have re-named the color "Bloodpimp". In full disclosure, it's in spec, drops empty Pmags even when dirty, and ran fine at MilCopp.
