praharin wrote:I voted OSOE, because I like the gear (made in motherfucking USA too) and John's wife is hot... but HSGI is also a favorite. Gene is a great guy. I've personally met him, and he went FAR out of his way to set me up with what I needed at the time. I've had good experience with Eagle gear, though their customer service leaves a little to be desired, IMO.
I don't understand why Condor and Voodoo made the list but Blackhawk! and (more importantly) CRYE PRECISION didn't. Blackhawk is HUGE, and CP has provided a lot of much needed (IMO) innovation into the realm of tactical gear.
While I haven't experienced them all, Blackhawk! is the only one I can personally say anything negative about. But, when their gear fails, they are good about fixing/replacing it for you.

All of their rigs are handmade, in the US, and they make some fantastic stuff! Their owner John worked with me every step of the way to create my dream chest rig. Cannot give these guys enough props!![]()
I also have some gear from TAG, HSGI, Source, ATS, Blackhawk, and a few others I'm sure. I've ditched my Condor stuff except a simple hydration carrier and their Soft Shell Jacket (which is fantastic). I never really had any of it fail, but most of it just feels like crap. The difference between my TAG and Condor dump pouches is just night and day.
