bugging out weapons

Postby specops » Mon May 21, 2012 4:36 pm

do you have a set of weapons prepared just for bugging out? Mine are a glock 19 with several 33rd magazines and a stock and foregrip 16inch barrel. along with a remington 700 sps tactical .308 with a mcree folding stock, a remington 870 with a butler creek folding stock, and either my remington 552 .22 or marlin .17hmr. I can use a glock 19 as a sidearm or like a combat type weapon and an 870 for hunting(or could be combat with the pistol grip) and the 700 for larger game (elk, deer, moose) and the .22 or .17 for smaller game. I dont like the idea of taking something like an ar or ak when bugging out becasue of the weight and bulk of the gun and ammo and magazines. And when i say bug out i mean just grabbin the bag and goin not like takin a day to pack up the truck with 5 years worth of food, becasue you should be buggin out to a spot were there will not be much if any combat or violence so shouldnt need much on that part.

OP, if you're in the U.S.A., do you have a tax-stamp for that G19 with the stock and foregrip?

Im confused you say you dont want to bring an AR or AK because of weight but yet you plan on bringing G19 stock and what not plus 33rd mags, an 870 and two rifles? Why not just bring the 870 with two barrels 18.5" and a 28"you can get one fully rifled then you can carry different rds to fit all your needs? AR's weigh next to nothing and .223 is lighter than 3" 12 gauge. You can get collapsible/folding stocks for both the AK/AR. If your going to be mounting stocks and such to a pistol why not just carry a Draco?

If its the PAW, I'd prefer something bigger than a G19 on my hip. But if it's what you use now, and what you're familiar with and it works for you, giv'er.

Redundant thread, but I'll play;
Kel-tec S2k
G34, 4th gen

INCH
Lee Enfield
.22 bolt (undecided which one)

Guns don't always need to come on a bug out, but since my BOL is where I shoot my long guns the most anyways, I'm sure it's worth having them around.

Dont know why you PM me but the AR is very much made for 400yds and further even with my beater WASR im ringing 10" plates at 200yds besides 400yds is really far for hunting what do you plan on hunting and where? Dont really understand how putting a stock on a G19 makes it a "combat weapon".

Is a SPAM card the same as "Don't feed the troll"?

No, Troll threads often stay on topic, where SPAM threads tend to wave to chatter until they get L&B. Random conversations, like unicorns, coke vs. pepsi, or the semantics of SPAM vs. Trolls are all fair game in a SPAM thread. Take your pick.

Every topic you have posted recently has been discussed, several times, AD-NAUSEUM, in recent threads. If you had bothered to search, you could have just asked your question there, or maybe even found your answer, instead of just making a new thread about the same shit we have talked about a billion and a half times already.

Spec Ops. Listen carefully to what AKFTW just said. There are threads already for the questions you asked. Furthermore, there is a firearms chat thread AND (Started by me) an All Purpose Optics thread. IF you have things to ask, chat or generally bullshit about, go to one of those threads rather than started yet another thread that's been done at least 100 times.

People are calling you a troll because you're not posting in those threads. ZS has certain mannerisms and doing what you're doing flies in the face of good manners on ZS. If you don't want the negative attention, post in those aforementioned threads. Enjoy.

Or a member of an elite rapid-response defensive unit at an enclosed retail facility.

Could not have said it better myself. You have been a member here for 6 months. You should know better to start 4 threads in one day about topics that have been covered multiple times. Its like beating a dead horse over and over  . You should have seen that posting in the way you did does not fair well. That's why I posted the spam card picture, because that's what your doing. Spam is annoying garbage that one has already seen, processed and dealt with. Post in the appropriate areas, have well spoken entries and you will get a better response. Post garbage that is misspelled, you are going to get crucified. I think we were(including myself) were harder on you because you didn't just join the same day of your entry. You had a minimum of 6 months to see how the process works and should know better. I am not trying to discourage you from posting again, but choose a different method. BTW telling everyone that they suck dick is a sure fire way to get yourself completely written off for anything credible in the future. So if you want to keep up the label you have EARNED as a troll and or spammer, keep telling the members to suck dick. If you were to backtrack a little and humble yourself some people might give you another chance.
