Even thou this storm is minimal at best, all more the reason to stay on top of preps when you can. Mother nature doesn't keep a schedule.

I've got to grab a few small things yet myself.

I do not need much just some normal items that I have to cycle out. I normally start in April and finish in May...but jeez.

Fun times, I noticed it this morning on weather.com
Looks like I get to go home tonight and inventory everything.
Does your BOB at least have: water, basic tools, fire, food, first-aid kit, and shelter?

No land impact likely.

It's going to make for a rainy week on the east coast though. :(

We're envious of that rain. La Niña is still pushing these storms away from the coast, and causing us drought. They said it should break and return to El Niño by late summer, but that's what the forecast was for last year, too.

Glad to see Alberto is going to stay offshore (most likely.)
It's a good reminder to get your preps together and check your inventory. Especially if these storms are going to just start 'popping up' off the coastal areas, this season.

I just came back from vacation on the Outer Banks and got a two days that were kinda windy but no wash outs. I've been through 3 hurricanes, 3 tropical storms, and I can't count how many tropical depressions. I did wind up rescuing an inflatable pink killer whale that was being blown down the shore for a group of little girls. :D
