Also waiting patiently. This is a real turning point in the story. The hot ex-girlfriend admittedly was in on the attack and didn't spill the beans until caught in a lie. She needs to be dealt with. I don't think our group is up to making her a prisoner for life, or worse, so I'm think we will see her exiled. But who knows what plot developments are in store...well, one person does, but he isn't sayin'. OK, I'm done being patient:

I have really been enjoying this story. In some ways it is a by the numbers zombie story, but the human threats and the pretty strong characterizations really place it a cut above the herd.

The stuff with the bandits is great; can't wait to see what those nefarious bastards are up to.

I wonder what the Judge thinks they could have done? He needed expert medical care, which they didn't have. He needed a lot of different medicines, most of which they didn't have, and the others they only had limited amounts of, and he would need foo -- and they're already running out of that.

Plus, it's not as though he was an innocent victim -- he's a rapist and a murderer, at the very least. If they did manage to get him well, what were they going to do with him then? Turn him over the the "proper authorities"? There were no proper authorities, not any more, and the Judge couldn't judge him -- the Judge was one of the intended victims, and so could not be considered impartial in any sense.

I don't think he thought that one all the way through, you know?

Please don't pull a Hollywood like you did with killing the other two and then waiting while Frank, the leader, yelled obscenities. Frank's the leader, you take out the leader in a situation like this, and the entire thing collapses, especially since there'll only be the one guy left.
