Alamogordo/El Paso/Las Cruces

Postby Wrangler » Thu Mar 08, 2012 7:15 pm

Moving back to the area in about two weeks. Just curious if there where other ZS peeps in the area. I know a few are located in El Paso, but is there anyone else in the area? I will be living in Alamogordo but I have family in both Cruces and El Paso. Just looking to find some folks to talk preps with and maybe lay the ground work for a new chapter.

What if we started with a bi-weekly or monthly meet up were we get together for coffee or dinner or something and talk. Then at least those who enjoy similar things can meet and get together for those activities?

I would be interested in a monthly meet up. I just moved back to the area so it would be nice to meet some new people around here, especially some preppers.

I really need to brush up on how to prep in the desert, major shift in focus from Wisconsin!

Perfect I visit family on the west side on the weekends so looks like we are all in the same area.

We could meet at Barne's and Noble or a food joint?

In that area I think the cookie factor is a good place to meet. They have food aren't overly crowed and you can get coffee or food. I have often had crochet group there on Mondays

Oh now you get together since I'm back in D/FW. I see how ya'll are down there.

Hey Wrangler, I didn't make it to La Posta but we did have lunch at Sparky's in Hatch. So I reckon I'll have to make another trip sometime.

Next Saturday, May 26, 2012? That is good for me. We could meet around 5pm or do we want later or earlier. Or we can do it Monday, May 28, 2012 at 6:30 pm or 7 to give people a chance to get off work.
