Lugged around my 48" Hi Lift jack while figuring out a homebrew solution to mounting it in Dusty. I have no idea why that is so much more difficult than carrying the canoe around on my shoulders.

Edit: amounted to a 30 minute walk with many stops while lugging around 30+ lbs. of awkward.

Partner assisted (preferred workout location -- Football field/grassy inner-area of 400m track):
Sprint 100m --> Bear Crawl back --> (Partner assisted) 10 hand stand push-ups --> (Partner assisted if needed) Hand stand walk 100 m (NOTE: 1: NO "WHEEL BARROWS"!; 2: It's not a race -- DO IT CORRECTLY!) --> (Partner assisted) 10 hand stand push-ups --> (Partner assisted if needed) Hand stand walk 100 m back to where you started ---> SWITCH PARTNERS

REPEAT TWO MORE TIMES, then call it a day.

Just a reminder this thread is for workouts you have actually done, not just read about :)

Sunday for me was jump rope and tabata shoulder presses with a 10kg plate. Yesterday was a rest day as is today due to some shoulder soreness from climbing.

Mowed the lawn w/ a push bagger mower yesterday, so a bit of work. Swapped a battery out of the jeep then back into it to check another vehicle. Very happy I got that done without normal issues and just in time for it to rain.

Heart got cleared without a stress test!

Helped Old Son move out of his dorm and did a half mile round-trip walk to the grocery store, carried 2 bags + a 10# meat tube back to the house. Together, 2 miles easy, most of it while carrying some stuff.

I'm finding this interesting; I'm adding in a workout without overdoing things by just changing a bit of how I do whatever it is I'm normally doing.

Sprint intervals. Six days till the race. I'm experimenting; 95% of my prep for this race (5k) has been sprints.

Also a slightly new approach to strength training; one ball-breaking set for each movement. This left me pretty wasted. I hope to do it again Tuesday, but we'll see how recovery goes.

Squat 165lbs 1x15
Dumbell pullover 20lbs 1x20
Deadlift 190lbs 1x11
Overhead press 75lbs 1x14 (failed on 15th rep)
Chinups 1x10 with slow negatives
Dips 1x20

Substituting on some paper routes in town. While I did use my Jeep, I jogged to and from the houses at a moderate pace.

If I end up subbing tomorrow, I may use my bicycle.

Dear Phil,
I'd like to take a moment to tell you how horrible your 'Sumo Deadlift Highpull' is. I just got back from being sick and figured I would warm up and try it. 3 sets of 10 at 110 pounds made my legs feel like jelly. Combine that with about 150 push ups, some back rows, and about 30 pull ups and I cant stop the sweat from pouring off me. I dropped the weight to 80 pounds to finish with another few sets. Sadly I dont feel like running now.

Its a shame I'm not the kind of man that could hold you responsible for this.

Love always,
Sigboy40
