Ok I have been working on my collection for awhile and at this point i don't think 'im missing much. 2. ruger 10 22 older model like new. (metal parts)

4. hk45 fullsize
5. remington 870 police (vang comp ext,cerakoted,)
6. 2 qty krebs customs ak103k 7.62x39
8. str custom .308 w' nightforce
9. glock 19 w?4 33 rounds mags
10. ruger lcr 357

am i missing anything or need to get rid of etc etc. i did have a bcm rifle and i do not care for the 5.56.

Not a bad collection at all.

I am curious about your aversion to the 5.56 though. I used to have a dislike for it as well, but the newer rounds have changed my opinion.

You have everything covered. Plinkers, game getters, normal capacity rifle, sidearms, and a shotgun. Doubling up on everything wouldn't hurt. I would grab an extra hunting rifle for sure. You never know when another on hand might be useful.

Don't see a SCAR, and not enough .308/7.62NATO. Other than that, looks good.

Yea i figured the 7.62x39 would be good for 300 yards and the str 308 would good out the 1000 yard mark. i've tried the scar and the ammo and weight is not for me.

I'll be picking up a Ruger Scout at some point. I don't have plans for hunting out past 300m and a scout scope will do that fine.

You already have a .308, so I would stick with that. Makes ammo stock piling easier. Also makes hunting trips easier. If one rifle goes down, you already have all the ammo on hand that you need for the other one.

How about a longer, chocked barrel for your 870? Be good for the game hiding way up in a tree. Also, this thread needs pics!!

The STR is cool, and the H&K stuff is borderline unique ... but other than that, everything you have is strait out of the "what guns to buy" handbook.

Go get some stuff that other people don't have - Like a Cobray 'Pocket Pal', a Valtro PM5, or a Spectre HC.

Your collection looks to be terrifically well thought out and complete. If you're not ready for come-what-may then no one is.

I think that's just picture angle and lighting. Look where the barrel gets larger. You can see the normal wear color variation.

Stop holding your face to the right of the gun. Srsly, half my family shoots lefty, and the only thing Glock throw brass at is the guy two range stalls over.

I gotta believe an extractor tweak should cure that issue.

Long shotgun barrels are antiquated. A choked 18 inch barrel will preform just as well as a long barrel. Our grandfathers needed long barrels to get the most out of their black powder cartridges. But today, such things are outdated.

The question is whether the Vang-Comped 870 has removable chokes, and whether the OP has the chokes to use them for hunting.

It looks like you have the firearms covered very we'll.

I have been curious about the maintenance supplies people have stockpiled for their weapons.

A couple of friends just had a universal cleaning kit and that was it.

Cleaning supplies spare parts for what you have may be a better prep then more guns.
Friends dont let friends buy kel-tec.

I dont have a lot of extra parts, but a pretty comprehnsive cleaning kit, bore snakes for @ cal. etc. And when a part breaks/wears out, I pick up a couple extra, not just the one to replace... Figure, if it breaks it probably will again.
