http://www.itstactical.com/centcom/its-information/join-its-at-silencercos-1st-annual-silencers-are-legal-shoot/

basically, a bunch of suppresor companies are having a big shoot up at elm fork shooting range up in dallas on April 28th from 0900-1800 (or 9am-6pm for you non-24hr time people). apparently its only $12 with a bunch of vendors and guns to shoot. I WANT TO GO TO THIS SO BAD. i dont know if i will end up making it, but i figured it would be right down y'alls alley.

Since the wifey stated just last night, as we were watching "Shooter" for the umpteenth time, "i'd like to shoot a 50 cal. someday"..... right up our alley. I'll let her know, and will try my best to be there.

I'll be there. I'm thinking of setting up a trust so that I can buy one to fit my AR15 Carbine, and my AR10 SASS.

Was just checking up on this event. I went to Elm Forks site. It is NOT listed on their calender of upcoming events.
If I remember I will call tomorrow & ask them about it. For their part Silencerco still has it on their site at the link chase posted. SO just FYI:

Silencerco’s 1st Annual Silencers Are Legal Shoot

Postby jt526 » Thu Apr 12, 2012 3:20 pm

Pretty sure the only official site is the silencerco site, I know several people going, including the guy I use for nfa xfers, and he'll be showing off some of his suppressors at a table there. Atwell tactical, I high recommend him if you are near Richardson, $10 transfers, $50 bucks for NFA items.

I'm planning to be there, and I'm probably bringing my brother and possibly my dad.
Hopefully the website will let us actually order our tickets at some point...

I wish I could go, but I'm on call that weekend and no one can trade with me. Oh well, I'm not within a year of getting a can at this point anyway.

Also, every time I see that company name I leave out one of the c's and pronounce it "Silencero" in my head like it was in Spanish. Like it's a Spanish superhero, but more like Batman, but with suppressors. Just cappin' people all day.

They should really chance their name to that.

Hi everyone, We were thinking of trying to attend this, had a couple of questions...

How many people from the group might be going?

I read the information where this is a silencer only shoot, are they supplying the weapons with silencers or do you have to bring your own weapons? I believe I remember reading they would have ammo there for sale to use...Never been to one of these but sounds like a lot of fun, if anyone with experience would mind posting some more info please do or PM me.

Thanks, Ken

i'm trying REALLY hard to be there. from what i've read there will be no "un-suppressed" fire all day. i don't think you can bring anything but i could be wrong. the prizes in the raffle are absolutely sick though, trusts, sbr uppers w/ trusts, suppressors. HELL YEAH!

here's the info

http://silencersarelegal.com/legalshoot/#raffle

and here are the tickets

Silencerco’s 1st Annual Silencers Are Legal Shoot

Postby jt526 » Thu Apr 26, 2012 10:35 pm

You can bring your own, but must be suppressed. I'll have an m11/9, 9mm ar, 5.56 ar, .22 ar, suppressed sig p228, and a ruger mkii out there, maybea more depending. Unless it is a cluster to get on the firing range, it should be a good time.

Anyone is welcome to shoot them. I hope full auto is alowed, if you havent shot a machinegun it is a really good time.

I'll have a chapter patch on my hat
