Picked up a Promar bait knife from Ace for $2.50. Great little farm knife that I won't mind abusing. It's almost identical to a Mora.

Picked up a Swedish mess kit minus the alcohol burner and the lid. I can make my own alcohol burner but afraid the lid will be a hard find. Got a German mess kit on the way. Now I'm looking for a nice tarp, hammock, bivy sack and mosquito net. In time it will all come together thanks to flea bay!

Molle Sleep System Carrier in Desert Camo
Molle Waist belt in Desert Camo
RIT Dark Green Dye

Cost me roughly 20 bucks, should go together nicely with my Medium Alice and DEI Frame.

Picked up the kelty falcon new at a steal- o- a- deal $50 shipped a couple weeks ago and got to take a 5mile in 5mile out overnighter this weekend and ooooo-lala! Awesome pack, great suspension/support and plenty of room for all and then some!

Also picked up 2 MSS from onehelluva Member on here and anxiously awaiting arrival! One for the BOV and the other to be used for random camping.
I'm in the market for some CHEAP blue wire! Also a can of black spray paint!

Lately.....more like late to post about it (6 months late). But I got 2 Eberlestock G4 terminator packs for the wife and I.

Honestly it's a hybrid, I.N.C.H./B.O.B and filled them up with the typical stuff, some food, water, shelter, spare clothes, first aid, fire starting material (multiple methods), some ammo for multiple firearms, water purification, comms, survival tins, reading materials, multi tool, couple knives, survival tins, machete, lights, batteries, solar charger for rechargeable batteries, etc.

I dropped my initial load to about half to start rucking in some rough terrain to build up some endurance. I'm gradually adding back the full pack weight. Obviously water makes for some weight so I always keep that, the basics and some food, and I'll add back weight from there.

I'm assuming you purchased them from the same member I did. If so you will not be disappointed! Mine arrived in 4 days, and is in excellent condition! Gonna bump his sale thread if my membership ever goes through.

Recently picked up the Goal0 Nomad 7 kit from Costco, got a couple Sol emergency bivvys and Thermolite Reactor bag liner. I'm looking forward to testing out the Reactor liner on its own this summer, hoping it performs as well as I've heard.

Very sweet 10/22. I'm thinking about making this model my first 10/22.

Does it still feel solid, even with the take-down point in the middle?

And how long is each half?

I just ordered one of these. I got it in khaki because I figure I would be able to wear it with almost anything in any situation unlike going with the multicam version. I am actually really looking forward to using it upland game hunting.

Very very solid Fawkes. The take down button is nice and strong. Tight enough that i have been trying to wear it in a little bit for a few days and haven't got anywhere. its a very solid gun, no juggle, no shake, no loose sounds internals. Oh and the best part, it has an extended mag release. Much much nicer than my previous 10/22. Barrel length is 18 inches and stock length is 20 inches.

Very cool.

BTW, this video might have some insight on how to tighten/loosen the joint.

Equip travel hammock from Walmart. I've only used it for 2 hours, but it's nice. Once I get a tarp for it, I'll try a few overnighters. (Blue 8x10 or 10x12, while saving for a nice 10x10?)
