If that's what you're in to then by all means, it's a legitimate plinker. My comment was more directed at the goofy as shit look that thing has, not your interest in it.

Nothing about that is drool-worthy.

Wait, maybe the OP meant that if you look at it long enough you loose so many brain cells that you start drooling involuntarily?

I'm sure if they worked at it they could make it look worse. But this is American and you can make stupid crap and somebody will buy.

IMO, that turns an already clumsy to use weapon into an uglier, clumsier weapon.

Fail all around. Pay the tax and stock it.

This is the internet, don't let people get to you. And yes, that thing looks like complete shit. All of their products do. If you really want to do cosplay comicon stuff, it's cheaper to use cardboard.

The only thing I saw that might be a PIA was the Mosin stock. Everything else looked great. Bullpup designs are kinda cool, sorry you cant see that. You either like it or you don't, but the desgins are good even if you cant deal with the fact that it is a new idea. Hell if everyone hated new ideas and designs we all would be still driving carbureted engines vs efi. Learn to embrace new ideas, its the internet.

I like some bullpups. Steyr AUG and the L85A1 are nice enough, but everytime someone bullpups an AK I have the same thought train.Marginal Trigger+shitty linkage+rock-in magazines=FOF every time. Even a G2 trigger couldn't de-shittify a bullpup trigger.

The $300 to throw a stock on a krink is money better spent. ($200 for the tax stamp, $100 for the stock and labor)

ETA: Just checked: $240 for that "bullpup" which appears to have no heat shield around the barrel, looks like it was made out of kydex (I hope it's not) and has square corners where a cheek-weld would occur. Ick.

Man, you are taking this too personally. There is nothing new about bullpups. They have been around for quite some time. I love the israeli tavor, partially because it was designed to be a bullpup, not retrofitted. These are not new designs, they are dress up kits to make your guns look "cool", (which is totally speculative) that's it.

They could have at least tried to make it look better.

There are serious flaws in the AK bull pup idea. And this one just adds more and doesn't remove any of of the old ones.

First its ONLY usable by a right handed shooter. The bolt handle will slap you in the face if used left handed. Can't use it off handed. No improvement.
The chamber opening is in right in your ear. Nice.
Its even more uncomfortable to use a drum mag.
Its now even harder to get to the safety. Its not like it was exactly intuitive before.
Poor cheek weld.
Need new sight system to even have one at all.

If you just want a shorter AK just put a folding stock on it.

oh and its butt ugly.
