.40 .45 .44 and so on .22 .357 and such are ok. but to do it right stick with the 4's. and above all no 9mm.
YOUR GONNA NEED A BIGGER BOAT....

That's absurd. Please do some basic research before making recommendations to others. We like to check our facts here.

Also, this is a duplicate many, many times over. This comes up all the time. Plenty of experts trust their lives to 9mm. I used to carry a .45acp until I became better informed. Now I carry a G19.

.38spl, .357mag, 9mm, .40, .45, 10mm, whatever blows your skirt up. Any modern self-defense caliber will do its job if *you* can do yours. The differences are so marginal that threads like this make me roll my eyes. :roll: Shot placement is key. Shutting down the CNS, etc.
