Guys,
As a little side note to FreeNarrative's post about all the good kit being abroad, what do you say to the idea of a UK only trading post?

I'm pretty sure we all have some stuff lying around that we could do with passing on. I know I do.

What do you reckon?

Well, I'll raise it with the other Mods, but I'm pretty sure the answer will be a No, at least for one in our little sub forum here, We do have an official trading post, http://zombiehunters.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=48 but the policy is members only may advertise. Rules can be seen here http://zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=4503, I'll double check, but I think it's verboten to set up trades outside the trading post.

I see four years in the OTC are working. On a plus side, there seems to be no issue with having a UK/Europe thread in the trading post area. I suggest making it a thread of links, so people make an ordinary trading post thread, and post the links so people local can find it.

We can even have that thread in this subforum if you want. You'd still have to be a member to post in the trading post forum though.

Did someone say ma' name? hi guys, just mi' tuppence worth,,, I think it's a good idea for a UK and/or EU trading post. Sometimes things slip throught the gaps as people don't want the pond to get in the way. It's a long way to the states but if we knew that the EU or the UK had it's own area then we're more likely to go have a shufties.

Again,, just saying I think it'd be good but, then again, what do I know.

Yep, all sounds good to me.. I have a few bits and pieces I wouldnt mind offloading and Fleabay can be a bit of a hit and miss affair sometimes... hmm.. time to start cataloguing some kit I think !

Just got back from Dhekelia Garrison cyprus and have picked up a nice set of new/Unused Desert Goretex (Jacket and Trousers) and a desert bush hat. Jacket and trousers fit me although are a little bit large (I'm 6'1, 80kgs) and the bush hat is 55cm. Just wanted to see if anyone has any interest in buying the kit otherwise I'll probably sell it on to the local cadet detachment.

It was a bit of everything, hot days, cold nights. More *********** mozzies than I care to comment on further. Good training though. Went up the Troodos for a day. Very weird sunning yourself in the morning, then in 3 feet of snow in the afternoon.

Built more Hesco than I care to repeat in the second week.

Ahh.. Troodos.. spent some time up there in the early 90's working in/around the golf balls.. all good fun.. and yep, skiing in the morning on Sun Valley 1 and 2 and then driving down to the coast for swimming and sunbathing in the afternoons.. tres bizarre as the frenchies would say...

Back OT... I've still got those water bottles x 2, 58 pattern mugs x 2 and no doubt a few other bits and pieces hanging around.... any further update on the Trading Post or have the Morale Police totally kaiboshed it for ZS-X ??
