The guns are provided by the training facility. Simunition doesn't sell their kits to individuals.

People still go for that marketing?

It's a term most people understand.

We have conversion kits for a few models, if you want to bring your own. We also have Glock 17T's and Beretta M9's to provide.

My question is why wouldn't anyone take this, or any training, seriously? Or train if you don't want to learn anything?

It's a term most Call of Duty players understand.

Yeah, the Forum Tactical Wizards and Demons of Darkness have become way too cool for that phrase.

Now that I think of it, an ex NSW buddy of mine used it the other day. I gotta remember to make fun of him. Though I'm pretty sure he's never seen the Call of Duty video game.

I think the the fact that students can train with Iain Harrison is the draw, not the choice of vocabulary.

Dude can shoot...

While in MSRON/HVBSS we trained to S.P.E.A.R. and I really enjoyed the training and it proved great in real world.

For our tactics, the closest video i.e. (wall flood/penetration flood/limited entry, etc) I've seen on the civilian market is this
http://policelink.monster.com/products/products/145-high-risk-entry-dvd---by-chuck-habermehl

We so a lot of drill, my favorite of which is "bag drills." Get in full equipment or daily dress, trainers but a bag over your head and set up a scenario around you. Once the bag is pulled you have to react to the scenarios around you. Makes for great training.

Watch from 3:54 for our MST drills. This is DSS, but pretty close.

Here's an update to the CTC laser class.
