Derp - looking back I could see where that's coming from, just the over whelming negative energy from 8 pages of "Fuck the Fucking Fuckers!!!" completely had me on the attack.

I had a broken sear on a Thompson Center 50cal Hawken cap and ball. Called them...

Updated with another Taurus horror story....

Fellow I work with carried a Taurus as his duty weapon. Went to qualify (his annual) and the weapon simply would NOT function... he sent it to Taurus under their "lifetime warranty", and 3 weeks later... THEY SENT HIM BACK SOMEONE ELSE'S weapon that had been sent in for repair... NOT EVEN THE SAME MODEL!!! He's now faced with waiting for them to see if they can locate what the hell they did with HIS weapon...

Yeah, Taurus... fuck the fucking fuckers.

It's funny, I own two Taurus M85s--older ones--and I have no problems with either. One of them I carried as my back up for a couple years until I gave it to Shorty and it was used to make the most amazing head shot on a running deer (three legged-injured in a car accident) I've ever pulled the trigger on! The other was given to our oldest daughter. I guess it's the like the old Chevy's; if you buy a car built on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, you get a good one.

I have 2 handguns, both Taurus. (Range report coming soon...)

Sometimes I have problem, (like I order ammo, and 1 box is missing), but I don't call customer service. (I never did.) I email them. When I order something I even send messages to stores, like "I prefer email over phone calls".

If the gun he got back from them functioned, I'd call that a win.
