I can, and have, gone without any any food for days on end (four max) without it bothering me, but would not want to be without the capability to completely wash and wear clean boxer shorts, shirt and socks. Outer gear getting grubby is okay, when necessary.

I could stay (and have stayed) dirty for days on end. With no problem. I could even due without food. But only IF I had coffee and cigarettes. LOL!

Food items: Cold brew tea, soy sauce, Franks Red Hot, SPAM, tortillas, rice, fruit of some sort

Hygiene items: 2-ply toilet paper, bar soap, hand lotion (have eczema), clean hand towel

Clothing items: My desert boots, taking a jacket and raingear everywhere I go regardless of season, at least one boonie hat, sunglasses, and two pair of clean socks, a fresh t-shirt, and change of underwear per day.

Entertainment items: my Sony Walkman mp3 player, at least one book

Miscellanea: That dove hunting chair Dad gave me my first year as a geology major that to this day nobody will dare steal because they think it's too tiny and uncomfortable. Best camping chair I've ever had.

Hot sauce. Various packets of it from different fast food restaurants have a designated place in my bag. Hot sauce can make anything taste good. I am particularly fond of Popeye's and Jack in the Box sauce.

Also, I almost always have an empty Mason jar in the bag. Usually by the time I get home it will no longer be in the sad empty state in which it began its day.

As far as clean clothes, socks, underwear etc... I can find a lake or a spring or river or some water source even if it is a horse trough and I could wash my clothes in it with some soap just like the early settlers did and hang them out to dry, when they are dry... whaddayaknow clean underwear, socks, trousers and shirts.... yay!

I can't make milk appear out of nowhere... I would need to find a dairy cow, and I don't live in dairy cow country so... yeah, no milk if the world quit existing as we know it today and I NEED MILK... milk, pepsi and coffee for sure.

My husband has a genetic disorder, a minor version of Phenylketonuria, where he is missing an enzyme that breaks down the protein phenylalanine. He's on a very specialized medication. Without it, we would get to look forward to him getting a slow deterioration of mental ability, eventually leading to brain damage and death.

In PAW, he is f*cked. And without him, I'm not sure how much I'd look forward to anything.
