talked to tom yesterday. and he said that most of the lowers are ready to go. whats holding them up is some folks ordered matching anodized uppers and lowers and their upper supplier is lagging it abit on their delivery. tom said that once they get the uppers in that they just need to anodize them and ship every thing out.

Thats good to hear, maybe I will order one. Does anyone know what limitations there are to the laser engravings on the opposite side? Can they do color laser engraving? Thanks

Thats cool, but no excuse why they can't stop in and let everyone know whats going on all at once. Actually it would probably save them quite a bit of time if they did that!

As has been mentioned, a little communication can go a very long way... especially since they started this project on such a high note with being interactive on these boards...

Just ordered my ZS lower receiver. Yay! I hope they ship them sooner than later.

First let me say I'm sorry for dropping the ball on this deal. I didn't do the best job of planning on this and you guys are experiencing some delays because of it. I am waiting for some uppers to get finished up so that they can go into anodize with the lowers. The machine that runs the uppers went down and screwed up the timing on a bunch of orders. The lowers are done being machined, have been prepped for anodizing and are just waiting for the uppers. I am going to go through the orders this week and any that are singles I will send off to anodize and at least get those to the people who ordered them. Again I sincerely apologize for the screw up on this, and not staying in better contact with you guys about the status of the project. Any of you that are considering canceling your order, please let me know as soon as possible as I don't want to send them in for a custom color if the order is going to be cancelled. I will be posting more regular updates as I have them.

Well, as I mentioned I can't complain too loudly since I haven't been charged yet. Glad to hear from you nonetheless... and looking forward to (hopefully) seeing some pics of the finished product (hint, hint), and to receiving mine soon!
