I wasn't aware that there was a post number or time-in-forum restriction. I was under the impression that anybody could get these. And as for somebody new, what better way to join a forum than to cough up a wad of cash to get a lower? I am not seeing a problem here.

Not your fault. All the i's seemed dotted an t's crossed, this is Quentin's fault. I'm mad at them, not you. They should at least have the common courtesy of updating us good or bad.

I am not mad at them, just frustrated. This group buy is worth more than $3k to them thus far. The least they could do is get back to us. I don't care if it is going to take longer, just let us know what is going on.

Man, I'd like one of these as well, but I have been lurking and watching the thread, and am kind of discouraged as to whether I should order or not.

I have to be honest, I'm not happy with them. They took a long time to half answer a question of mine. I will give them a chance though. Unfortunately I still haven't gotten a CS check so I haven't been able to order. If I get one, I will certainly place an order if I still can.

I checked on their facebook page. They apparently just cranked out some other lowers. I would imagine ours will be done soon.

last I spoke with tom the guy over at QD they had cut out all of the lowers and were getting ready to send them out to get anodized the guy said it might be about an other week or two. this was last Thursday. 3/29/12. so hope that helps.

I guess I've been lucky so far every time I call they pick up.

I am going to give them 2 more weeks from this day ................ We have had no communication from them and have kept a lot of people in the dark. Just with the lowers alone is worth a ton of money to them. I ordered a upper with mine so that is addiontal money. With todays economy its getting harder to keep that cash sitting in my account. I would'nt be so frustrated if they would post some kind of updates. just saying!

I kinda feel the same way... I can be patient for a special project, and I realize they are taking time out of their normal schedule to do this, but we ARE paying them for it so some kind of update, at the very least, would be nice...

as much as I want one of these lowers, I think I am going to pass. Sorry but the customer service is just not there. All it takes is a quick here is an update guys type post. No information is always bad. I have seen many companies do this, and they lose tons of business, when it could have been remedied with a simple sentence on a forum.

talked to tom yesterday. and he said that most of the lowers are ready to go. whats holding them up is some folks ordered matching anodized uppers and lowers and their upper supplier is lagging it abit on their delivery. tom said that once they get the uppers in that they just need to anodize them and ship every thing out.
