Unless of course you have some religious or philosophical objection to them. Forcing milk and cookies on a vegan could probably be viewed as a war crime.

I think it hinges on the phrase able-bodied, so as best I can understand it I am not reserve militia.

That's just plain weird though. I'll have to look into that.

Yay milk and cookies!

Hate to be the bearer of news but if the USA were invaded I can almost guarantee you'd be called to your militia, tater. Shit, I'd volunteer and I was medically discharged. Danged shoulder.

I thought it had become a discussion among ourselves regarding militia status and the possibility of milk and cookies being offered to POWs.

So, should all cookies being vegan, or should we offer varieties? Take into account common food allergies? What would be the logistics of the cookie acquisition program? Should we offer different types of milk?

Well we'd have to provide a bit of everything really. I'm sure that we could come up with cookies to satisfy any dietary requirements.

However, if you want to truely corrupt them, may I suggest snickerdoodles?

Well, obviously good intelligence would be vital to the success of "Operation Cookie Monster." What sort of cookie does the enemy prefer? Is he a dunker? Does he like'em crispy or chewy? If all we have is oatmeal raisin or thin mint, will he be less likely to surrender?
Does he come from a society where haggling is the norm for most transactions? If so we should lowball him with our first offer. Otherwise he may hold out for a doughnut.

not to nitpick with ya,. but, if you have a social security card you have a military ID. I seem to recall that I had to register with the selected service when i was young (18 thru 25). I believe its still the law. Not trying to be a dick though. And i bet you probably forgot all about that little piece of information right there. lol

Challange accepted.

No I did not. I went straight active military. I did my bit and got discharged. I'm now service connected disability. Ergo, I cannot serve. Also, that ID is not a military ID as it was issued by social security, not DoD. DoD is the issuing authority of military ID's. In addition, females do not have to register for selective service therefore a social security card cannot be used as a military ID.

Not to mention it's not a photo ID therefore is not valid to be used for identification purposes.

i was always under the impression that my number was supplied to the DoD so they would know to send me a nice letter of request. Meaning they now have me in a file as ID#000-00-0000 human combatant, 1 each. I know its not a picture ID but its a Identification number for them to use.

anyway... gotta run...
