Also, there are flat spots on the mountain, you just gotta find 'em. Or sleep with your head uphill, and have something fictitious or sticky/grabby (like silverware or toolbox drawer mats) under your sleeping pad. I did it on a decently steep area last year, just to see, and it worked out fine. Suck it up!

Take it to the TOP!!! It's flat, has shade, a great f#cking view, and I swear it is too damn high up that the ticks and mosquitoes just stay down by the other campers.
