Also I'm with the poster above me. After I bought my HG and Ammo if there was money left in the budget I was going to pick up a copy.

It's still going to be up for a few days more. If you want to still get it, you'll have about a week or better.
And I've posted links to my author's spotlight on all manner of zombie-themed websites, such as zombie webcomics and such...and I keep posting links on Facebook, but these aren't yielding any results. I keep thinking about buying an advertising package from Lulu (that's how you get it on Amazon.com and so on), but they're pretty cost prohibitive.
I've done about what I can when it comes to getting it out there, but it just ain't happening. So things go...but admittedly, it was fun while it lasted. But it topped off at seven sales, and the last one was two and a half weeks ago.

It's the fact that for that price, I can buy two (or more) other ebooks.
If he drops it down to, say, $6.99, then I'd buy it. $4.99 would open up his market a SIGNIFICANT amount. But I'm telling you, at that price point, he's not going to get the number of sales he wants.

I think with today's publishing costs for limited prints this page count in Dead River doesn't lend itself to a $6.99 buy point.
While it's existing price point is on the higher end of the market for similar sized books, it is about right when you consider the fact this isn't a mass-producing (thousands of copies) print run.
Personally I think if you were to keep it as a book for download and move the physical copy to a print on demand method, you might have a more idealistic way to keep this on the market longer.
Just remember pimping is hard, pimping yourself is harder than pimping someone else.
It will be fustrating as hell for you, sales will be slow. Sometimes it pays off sometimes it don't, just stick with it.
I found the book enjoyable even knowing what was coming, I love dead tree copies. I know I put the lulu link up on my Facebook with a recommendation for it. I don't know what it would take for you to get it over onto the Amazon listings but it might be worth it just to cash in on the zombie talk from Walking Dead and the upcoming World War Z.

A friend of mine has done this so I know it works.
I'm 99% sure Amazon has a similar program.
