By up and running, I of course mean I ordered those parts and it will be up and running soon. Sorry, kinda overexcited.

Just need to go ahead and order a VTAC light mount and a Surefire G2X Tactical and I'll be done, until my stamp comes back, at which time I will add a stock (probably Magpul CTR) and sling, probably Ares Armor.

Also, planning on ordering about 400 bucks worth of ammo for it tonight.

100 rounds of Ranger T series in .357 sig, and .45 acp. 100 rounds of Speer Gold Dot 5.56.

Just got my model 700 in 300 Win mag back from the gunsmith that installed a forward set trigger. Normal pull set to 2lbs, forward set at 3-4 ozs! Touch the trigger and it breaks. Scariest damn trigger I have ever seen!

I couldn't do that, I'd be out hunting, accidentally fart, and blow my damned foot off LOL

Sounds like a nice set up!

When the trigger is set, you can trip it with a fart, or slapping the buttstock, or looking at it crosseyed! But it's perfectly stable until you manually push the trigger forward a 1/2" and it takes a pretty good shove to do that. I originally wanted it for elk hunting and to have the trigger be at 3lb normal pull and 8 oz forward set, but the gunsmith polished everything too damn smooth and we couldn't get it to the 8oz mark without putting some overtravel into it. It is the same trigger that he has in his $18k custom built Creedmoor sniper rifle and was jealous because mine turned out nicer than his! He was going to take his back out and start polishing!

If you ever need any custom work, give him a call. He does stuff for people all over the world!

More like a week ago instead of 48 hours. Colt M4 Carbine, MOE stock and grip. MI gen 2 drop in rails, Inforce WML light, VCAS, Eotech XPS, with magpul BUIS.

Zero'd at 50 yards, Eotech very accurate at 100 and holding nice groups. After the range trip I picked up a can of XM855. 840 rounds. Looking at a case of 193 next just to put back.

Also sold my Glock 30, and picked up a Gen4 Glock19. 500 flawless rounds at the range. I also have a G26, wanted to keep one pistol caliber.

Hit a small gun show, picked up a hex receiver MN for $127 OTD. Not much in the way of C&R, and most were $200 more than they were worth. I also picked up some WWII memorabilia and a KGB pin.

4000 rounds of M193 5.56.

I backordered them through the deal on Brownells so I assume I'm locked in on that price. I hope they come through with them.
