Hmm...Well I work part time at a hardware store atm so I'd have plenty of useful tools at my disposal, and my car has a few supplies in it as well. I'm gonna have to say either a Hospital where all the bite victims or sick people would be coming in, or in a big city that Im not at all familiar with.

Must disagree. People dying off en masse would not be cool, even people you consider moochers.

(Nor would it be cool if they died off in the state of Massachusetts, if that's what you meant by "in mass." Nor would it be cool if they died at a church service, if that's what you meant by "in mass." I just assumed you meant "in large numbers.")

You're nothing, if not thorough.

And a smartass.

Oh yeah, you're a raccoon, too. Forgot that. So you're nothing if not a thoroughly smartassed raccoon. And other stuff, I'm sure. You're right, too. Eh, you get what I mean.

I think worst would be downtown, LA. trapped in a building during the inevitable fire, zombie hordes outside the fire doors.
finally making it out and across the parts of town I wouldn't walk in today in daylight.
Just to get home and be backed up against the ocean by 7 million zombies where I live.
they are mooching off of me now and they will be trying to eat me later.

I think about this while I'm out doing things.

went to Hollywood and I can picture the masses of zombified tourists.

I like to rate people based on how long I think they would last in the PAW

me: 'I think that guy in the diesel pickup would last about 3 weeks.
wife: 'that's not very long'
me: 'most people would be dead in couple days'
wife: 'what about that group of girls walking down the street?'
me: 'they will infect thousands'
wife: 'what about you?'
me: 'last man alive'

this game is almost as much fun as:

"Most inappropriately dressed"
"Man or Woman"
"Pregnant or Fat"

Worst place for me is at work. If I'm at work, then my kids are in 3 different places. Imagine trying to get your kids from a public school in any real SHTF situation.

I would imagine that the worst place would be if I was 1000 miles away from home/family when a coronal mass ejection (CME) from the sun generated a global-wide EMP event. That would be a long walk, as bikes would probably be worth their weight in gold.

Sounds like a plot to a hilarious zombie flick.

I'd hate to be anywhere away from home really. When I'm gone I only really carry a mid-sized folding knife and a multitool. More different if I'm gone for more than a day, but that doesn't happen much.

My mother in law house, that woman can take a simple black out, turn it into worst situation every imagined. I would hate to see her in a PAW.

Prison, jail or a locked psych unit. All of them may have multiple plans for emergencies but if TSHTF, plans go out the window. Employees in those places will bolt to be with their families or to get out of Dodge without a seconds thought about the people locked down.

Patient having organ transplant surgery who wakes up in the middle of the procedure because the anesthesia is wearing off only to find out that there is nobody around to finish the job. That is a level of suck I don't want to think about.
