Looks cool, can't wait for the release date. Only issue I have (and this is just me being an idiot) is that the guns look a little too modern. The G36's shouldn't have the rail mounted optics, and one of the guns looks like a SCAR, which I'm pretty sure didn't exist in '97. Oh well, if that's the biggest thing I can complain about in the game, it'll be a helluva game.

I saw a SCAR with a AR-15 FSB, a G3 (Heart warmed), Braxton and some AWESAUCE gun-kate-fu.

While neat in it's own right, it doesn't have the creep factor that the originals did. Take the licker for example, they are supposed to be surprise/ambush attackers. Sneak around and tongue punch thru your chest or slice open soft tissue from where you weren't looking, not cannon fodder. While a cool concept, I'd enjoy it more without the Michael Bay explosions and gun fights. Now if it were hunters, hell hounds, and zombies then heck yeah. It'd fit perfectly, but the lickers doing exactly the opposite of what the previous games had set forth (lore) definitely throws me off. It makes me wonder what else was tossed and retconned for sake of main stream shootery gameplay.

This one does look more geared for the "shooter" world, but I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing. RE6 is just around the bend, and it looks classic RE, so I'm good a nice "shooter" until then.

I love and still play the originals, I was playing 2 last week and almost beating Code Veronica X, I never beat this one. I can't wait till ORC and 6 come out.
