If a zombie can climb its way out of a six foot grave, then it should have no problem demolishing even the most secured and sturdy buildings. They wouldn't need doors, they would just smash through the side of the walls like the koolaid man.

United States. - Obvious reasons, everyone has a gun.

Slovakia. - Civilians can easily obtain the same firearms as the US but with a license, I've known two Slovaks and both have been pretty ready for anything violent.

Serbia. - 5 million privately owned guns in a nation of 7 million, most of those leftover AK's, SKS's and such from the Yugoslav Wars.

Switzerland. - Yeah.... You just don't F with Switzerland.

Finland. - They pretty much massacred the Russian military and repelled multiple invasion attempts with just deer rifles, don't fuck with Finland.

Mexico. - As if this needs explaining, if they're willing to tear each other apart and kill 45,000+ of their own people I'm sure they have no problem dealing with some zombies.

I think that even though 1st maybe and 2nd world countries may have the resources to combat the undead, they may lack the wisdom on how to utilize it. Time being the most critical factor as far as responding to a zombie outbreak with necessary force (shooting them in da head) may be wasted on using non-lethal methods, giving the undead threat time to grow.

The UK's Falkland Islands? Big military garrison, isolated location, sheep herding, minefields for zombies to stumble into, etc. Plus, thousands of penguins snacks walking about. Only major risk would be the Argentine government trying to take the place over(again).

Russia would be one. Escape to the most isolated parts of Siberia and wait till the undead decompose to the point of not being able to function.
Australia, low population with hot outback.
Western USA such as Wyoming, Montana, N and S Dakota and Alaska
Most of Western and Northern Canada.
Brazil in the Amazon due to geography and climate.
Oceania.
New Guinea due to mountains and climate.

America is a big place, but I have a feeling Alaska would be pretty well suited... Most rural areas of most states, hell anyplace where a shotgun rack in the back of a pickup truck is the norm, not the exception...

It's not just killing zombies, its surviving an economic and social breakdown... I have doubts about any town or country in the world with a population of more than a few thousand people would be equipped if a percentage of their population turned...

Microneasia would be fine.
possibly parts of the Pacific Rim, it being islands and such.

My bet is on any nation that allows the citizens to own, train, and carry firearms. Even if the majority of the nation doesn't survive, that's a massive amount of firearms and ammunition to obtain easily enough.
