Hoping he is, I would still assume a shotgun going off that close to your face would be far from beneficial.

Speaking of dumber things I've heard, it would be when someone told me they could buy a Thompson sub-machinegun for $2,000. This was six days ago, so no -- it wasn't back in the 1920s when they ran a couple hundred a piece. I asked them, "Oh, you mean one of those semi-autos that Auto Ordnance makes?"
"No, it's a commemorative."
I asked if they meant it was deactivated.
Of course it wasn't! So I asked how this guy even managed to get one that he was going to buy it off of. Apparently, the guy is the only one around who can get them because he's military. What the heck..?
"So, you're telling me this is a legit Thompson sub-machine gun, engraved and everything, fully-automatic, for $2,000?"
"Yeah."
"The last time I saw a transferable Thompson for sale, it was like $25,000 and I don't even know if I'm remember correctly. It could've been more than that."
"Well, this one is just $2,000."
"You do know you'd have to register them, right?"
"No I wouldn't, it'd be a private sale."
Cue an, "Dear sweet baby Moses riding in a motorcycle sidecar..." from myself, and I more or less just said, "Well, have fun with it if you get it."
I don't really didn't even know what to say to them. There was just no hope. He's just one of those guys that you can
never correct. Just because you're related to them doesn't mean you're not trying to screw them over or keep them out of prison. Nope. Always trying to keep 'em down. Always. Just like when I tried to convince them the barrel shroud (that thing that goes up) on their MAC-11 was, in fact, not a suppressor.
Hi, Todd.
