Call Sign Permission Thread

Postby KJ4VOV » Thu Dec 22, 2011 6:52 pm

In order to help make it clear for the net control station as to which call signs they have permission to share on the forums I've started this thread (and if a mod could sticky it I'd appreciate it). Any calls not posted here will/should be considered "private" and not published on the forums or in the net logs.

If you have no objection to your call sign being posted in the forums or in the net logs, please post your agreement here, along with your call.

Mine is KJ4VOV and I have no objection to my call being public on this site or in the logs.

I have no objection to my call sign being used in ZS-ARC logs, public or otherwise.

My call sign is KC0UON.

Just an idea, we could make people more comfortable by putting the ZS-ARC net logs in the ZS Members section (with a link to it from the ZSARC forum) so only active ZS members can see the info and it will be hidden from web bots.

I'm down for whatever though. Just tossing that idea out there.

Either way, this permission thread is a good idea. Thanks for doing it!

I have no problem with it used in conjunction with ZS.

would it be safe to assume that if it is listed as our username it would therefore be save to share? Or do I need to make a post here about how it is ok for ZS to use my callsign?

I've found it's best not to assume anything when it comes to ZS, so yes, please give your formal permission if you have no objections.

No problem... we'll just keep it lowercase. Your callsign would be uppercase.
