Building a raffle B.O.B. - Need Donations

In times past we have discussed building a B.O.B. for raffle purposes. I recently aquaired a Kelty Redwing 3100 pack in nearly-new condition. As I have absolutely no use for it (cuz I've got 3 packs already), I am donating it to the group for this purpose. It's black and white and I'll sew a B/W ZS patch on it at some point. Now I am looking for donations of gear to put in it. Following is an idea list-not an actual shopping/packing list. This would be a good time for all you closet (or uncloseted) gear-whores to unload some of your extraneous stuff.

Shelter / Tent - Wet weather / sun protection:

Sleeping Bag
Mylar Space blanket
Poncho/liner

Cotton balls/vaseline in waterproof match tube (Have the supplies, just need to do it.)

I'll see what I have lying around. I know I could throw in some 550 but I'm not sure how much. And I have enough MRE coffees and creamers to choke a team of horses. Also I would go with a multi tool over the folder. I know I dont have a nice name brand one to throw in but I'm sure I can look around and find an extra one around here some where.

I have a Mylar space blanket I can donate, Also a small two-sided sharpening stone. I think I have a folding Sterno stove hiding in one of by trunks, It had been used once, but I'd be happy to donate it as well

Yeah, I think I've given away most of my spare stuff, but I'll have a look around. I know I can part with some Sterno, and I might have a Gerber Diesel multitool lying around that could use a home.

Same here. I've given away most of my extra stuff in the past few years. I was trying to avoid having to attend Gear Whore Group Therapy.

I found an extra camelback bladder. Now for some purification tabs to go with it.

If you have stuff to donate to the pile of gear for the raffle bag, bring it to the December meeting or contact M1lkm4n, thinkfree or myself. We should get this thing packed up and ready to raffle at the sci-fi expo.

Right now it contains:

For the B.O.B. Raffle, would a brick of 4x4's or med/Lg exam gloves or even Sterile Saline bottles be wanted?

I’m asking my wife if she could get me a bottle of oral topical. And of course, I'm checking to see If that needs a prescription or if it's a doctor's use only item first.

FYI -Oral topical is the stuff they use to numb you before the shot at the dentist office, It's applied with a q-tip and it’s a little stronger than Ambesol. It's pretty tame stuff as meds go.

So should I just drop the MRE's off with him? I'm keeping the tortellini but I've got a plethora of other entrees. How many would be helpful?

Perfect. I am off for two weeks vacation at the end of this month and I'm going to try and hunt some stuff up. When I find whatever, I'll place a note on this thread and see where I need to drop off at.

One of my gaming buddies was in the beta for that. But he couldn't get himself into really playing it. Don't think he was quite feeling the game.
