Where will people be at in Panera? I know the chances of other sizeable groups being there are slim, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Things went well. To my warped thinking we have a good core group to build on. Now we have brainz storm the Charity thing.
Good job all y'all and see you in spring.

What no AAR for your tactical invasion of Panera?

I can tell you this. There were a crap load more cars parked out where I parked Sasquach and that made getting out of there fun.

Good group of people. Looks like we will get this thing going.

Too bad I was unable to make it out on Saturday. This next Friday I will be sending in my membership fee and will finally be official. Will be monitoring this thread for the next meet up date. So it looks like it shouldn't be much longer before Minnesota has a official chapter :D

Nice pic! I think I look stoned tho
.... Good times. And good coffee.

In regards to the first charity event, I did hear back re: Toys for Tots. They are full up on volunteers for this year. I'll ask around at work today to see if there's any word on a future bloodmobile showing.

Yeah, I'm STILL waiting on mine, from back in October.
Most of us at the meeting are waiting on ours. If memory serves (this discussion was before the coffee kicked in, so it might not), Breacher and Spliznat are the only ones who are official. The rest of us are waiting for them to be processed. I think...

Yeah but you don't count since you're abandoning us to go play Army-man for 8 months.

I'm up north by Duluth but you can count me also, I just paypal'd my renewal in (mine was expired).

My family ( through our church) does quite a few charities, some are as simple as filling multiple boxes with all the fixings of a christmas dinner, then delivering them to a crises shelter, or putting together care packages and sending them over to whatever local guard unit happens to be deployed at the time.

I'm a Tech ticket HAM also

Sheesh. Even Oklahoma is getting a chapter: http://zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=88097 Time to get a charity event going. I'll keep an ear out for any bloodmobile happenings at the hospital, but arranging one might take some work. Perhaps if one happens, we could show up and help out or some such.

I have lots of friends in bands and lots of connections at venues in Mpls . Would be pretty easy to tag a canned food drive onto a show and donate to a local food bank .

Great idea! Donate a food item, get free cover/drinks or some such?
