So.

Too soon to start planning for next year? I'd start a new thread, but 2012 dates aren't even announced yet.

Never too early - I'd like some things to bring up at the "Postmortem" (Awesome name)

I'm going to push for a ZS Panel - Where we get to discuss LOCAL issues (Fire, Flood, Snow, Volcano, Natural Gas Lines, Earthquake, Tsunami and Lahar [any others?? ]), an "Escort Detail" for a Panel Guest (we form a diamond on them and walk them to the stage with style), and have some folks at a working "survivors camp" near the entrance with vehicles, demonstrations, etc. Should be EPIC.

That all sounds great. I'd also include tornadoes and lightning storms. While we only very rarely get them here in WA (and then just little baby ones), a volcanic eruption can facilitate the creation of tornadoes and lightning storms.

"Survivor's Camp" with the 2 1/2 ton trucks would be cool. Makeshift barricade with signs, infected screening station, zombie holding pen, all with the trucks in the back. That would make an insane photo op!

I'll start a new thread for 2012, so we can start the ideas early, unless you want to continue it on this same thread with the 2011 AAR.

one of the ideas is one of the trucks will have a zombie holding cage. we have tons of chainlink fence. were going to take off the cargo cover and wrap the fence around the bows. we have barbed wire somewhere we just couldnt find it...

There was a quick blurb on Evening Magazine on the local NBC affiliate tonight about ZomBcon. Lame report, but they did have a nice close-up of Pasha's ugly mug and a nice shot of my Zombie Squad sign on the back of my tac-vest. We are definitely dominating all media outlets lately.

HERE is a link to the video. Look for Dr. Gonzo at about 3:20 and Pasha at about 3:32.

The offer still stands, I'll make velcro back patches (featured in the video) for member costumes to sport at events. Serious inquires only, cuz they're a pain in the ass to make, but they look pretty sharp.

I most certainly do. I just chose to be comfy the last day. It was even at the booth. I had to custom sew it so it was large enough for me.

I'm in for a patch, but I don't need it until after I get a vest, so put me in last place, after Meantree. I can give you some $ for supplies at the meeting.
