Hello there! Watched the History Channel and just had to check you guys out. I live in the Boston area and I am devoted to all things zombie. Looking forward to more in the future.

Watched the "History Channel" program last night. Have to say that it touched on many things that had already gone through my mind. Now I'm here and glad to see that there are other like minded people out there.

One hell of a show!

I noticed the recycled footage from "After Armageddon", but it fit in with the tone of the show. If I hadn't watched that show before, I wouldn't have noticed at all.

The bit with the St. Louis .gov officials was really impressive.

I really like how they really emphasized the community aspect of preparedness. There's too much "lone wolf" in the prep community.

It was cool to see some of you guys and put some faces with names. Up until yesterday, Kyle was Al Capone, a silly stickman shooting binary, or a freaky astronaut to me. I hope to buy you folks beers some day. Was that Doctor Jest on the radio?

I really wish I could edit vids on my dvr. I'd like to lock the last couple minutes in so it can't be deleted. Not that I didn't enjoy the whole thing but 2 hrs takes up a lot of real estate, especially when what I really want is just a couple minutes long. I'd especially like to have it to show friends when I'm telling them about ZS because I think it did a pretty good job of explaining what we're all about. Not to mention that being on History just might make us seem a bit more legit to the skeptics.

I did kinda wish that there was a lot more of ZS in it, but I understand that they had a lot of ground to cover.... Over all, I found the show pretty good.

Science could have been a little more precise, the cannibalism was clearly referring to Spongiform Encephalitis, and the cases from Papua New Guinea had a bit of time between the infection and the disease taking effect, something like two or three decades...

Prions on the other hand, are just damn scary...

I like the fact that they showed ZS in a positive light.....


Oh, and am I the only one who thought the Arab Ghuls were incredibly hot?

well i think they did a pretty damn good job on the project,shame tho they decided to do it on Halloween but i guess that is the opportune time frame for zombies... ZS came across very well & wasn't portrayed as fanatics or crackpots like some of the other shows on cable featuring survivalist or doomsday fanatics ...makes you proud to be part of an org-nation that people take seriously ... i'm really stunned that there weren't more people joining from tn,ky nc ,knowing there are many who lurk on the forums here ... well maybe History will do a ZS show later on featuring more of what ZS is about with fund raising , charity work & informing people to be prepared for disasters since there seem to be more happening within our world day by day ... good job ZS [to be fore warned is to be fore armed] [a nods as good as a wink to a blind horse]

TBH, I'm only here due to the History Channel's viewing on ZS, if you guys had never been shown on it, I wouldn't be here.

All in all, the program was very good, and I noticed clips of this guy with his wife and family from another History show... I believe it was, "After Armmagedon," or something like that.

yea,maybe your on to something ... maybe start off with History doing a full show on ZS & see what kinda feed-back they get ,then maybe a ZS regular show bi-monthly ... ZCON could be one episode ,the various community projects with various chapters would also get the word out with a positive light, hell ,they do those damn unreal reality shows all the time & they contribute nothing to society . if they can put on shows that feature people buying junk storage units & such ,why not a show about people doing positive , informative & helping communities ... this ,in my humble opinion,would be productive to society & then i think ZS would see a major influx of new members ! oh hell ,i got to head to work... All joking aside, I think our segment from the show needs to be included in the welcome wagon. So far, it seems like most of the new guys have a pretty good idea of what we're about without having to be educated.
