I would like to die causing a distraction, to help others escape. Example: I run into a hord of zombies with a few handgrenades and blow them all to kingdom come, thus causing a distraction letting others escape the horrors that previously haunted them.

I've never seen/heard of anyone who legally owns one but wouldn't it in theory be a DD. I wouldn't think they are surplused out

I did the rules and apologize... I guess I would just try to stop as many zombies as I could...allowing the rest of my party to escape.

I beg to differ. There are Zombies all over the place. Problem is they are well disguised. Don't ever get bitten though, the virus turns you into a politician.
